A cheap car with four worn tyres is not as cheap as it looks
If all four tyres are near replacement, add that cost to the purchase price. Also ask why they are worn: even wear is one thing; severe inner-edge wear may point to alignment or suspension issues.
Quality matters
The cheapest available tyre could prove different from the sensible budgeting figure. Compare suitable tyres you would actually be willing to use.
